Suffolk County Council have access to financial assistance to help people make their homes warmer and healthier.
The 2016 Suffolk Walking Festival kicks off on Saturday, 14th May and continues for three weeks until Sunday, 5th June. The varied programme of 77 themed walks across the county range in length from a gentle stroll of one mile, to a challenging 60 miles in 24 hours and will take place along Suffolk's glorious coast, through scenic, gently undulating countryside and around our medieval towns and villages.
James Cartlidge, MP for South Suffolk, is intending to submit a petition calling for better mobile phone coverage in South Suffolk.
My name is Paul Fleet and I am the Senior Community Fundraiser for British Red Cross in Norfolk and Suffolk. I am looking for people to cover a collection ‘shift’ at either the town centre or supermarkets of about 2 hours — either 9-11, 11-1pm, 1pm-3pm and 3pm-5pm. Volunteers will be provided with all kit i.e. bib, collection can etc. All money raised will be used in the local area, either on mobility aids, care in the community, first aid or emergency services.
