Age UK are looking for gardens of all sizes to be opened to the public which will help them raise funds for services for local older people.
We have received the following message from Babergh District Council:
We are UK Power Networks. We keep the lights on in your area regardless of your chosen energy supplier (the company that you pay your electricity bills to). We own and maintain the electricity lines and cables in London, the East and South East of England.
As you may know, this year there is a change to the way we distribute the Christmas collection dates and calendar as we are no longer sending a collection calendar automatically to every household. We will encourage residents to download from the web or simply view on our websites or on social media (and look out for it in the paper).
However, of course, we will still post them out to individual residents on request by phoning our helpline on 01449 778678, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Headway Suffolk are recruiting Community Support Workers to assist people who have suffered a brain injury.
